Copper TWU/UF

Copper TWU/UF features a solid or stranded conductor core with great conductivity. The (TWU) stands for Thermoplastic Wet Underground and the (UF) means Underground Feeder Cable (UF). The thermoplastic insulation is made of 60-80 mil PVC creating a thick layer of protection. It is used for tracer wire applications to conductively locate buried utility lines for the gas, water, sewer, telecom, and electric. Also used for grounding and golf course sprinkler systems not exceeding 600 Volts. This tracer wire is rated for direct burial and is commonly used in Open-Trench/Open-Cut, Plow-In, or Blow-In installations.
